Junior Golf Clinic (Age 8+)Taught by the PGA & LPGA instructors from the Village of Buffalo Grove Golf Courses, this will be a fun way for junior golfers to learn and work on their golf skills. The five class session includes instruction on the irons, woods, chipping, putting and etiquette. All students should bring a seven iron to the first class. Clubs will be provided if needed. Classes will meet on the Buffalo Grove Golf Club driving range and short game practice facilities. All rained out classes will be re-scheduled by the instructor. Junior Golf Camp (10+)In 2008, the Professional staff continues with a new and exciting way for juniors to learn golf. In the junior golf camp, the PGA & LPGA Teaching Professionals of the Buffalo Grove Golf Club will go beyond teaching the fundamentals of the golf swing. The junior’s actually go onto the golf course and learn how to play first hand. Before and during play, juniors will be instructed on the golf swing, short game, rules and etiquette. While on the course, players will be supervised by the Professional Staff, this will enable the junior golfer to be educated on golf course behavior by being put in actual playing situations. Adult GolfTaught by the PGA & LPGA instructors from the Village of Buffalo Grove Golf Courses, all levels of golfers are invited to enroll. The class will introduce the beginning student to the basic fundamentals of the game while the more seasoned golfer will be able to develop better skills and understanding of the golf swing. All students should bring a seven iron to the first class. Clubs will be provided if needed. Classes will meet on the Buffalo Grove Golf Club driving range and short game practice facilities.
